Cathedral Rock.

Probably Sedona’s most photographed rock.

I’ve been up by that spire in the middle a couple of times. Haven’t been a ton of times.

Here they say one of Sedona’s vortexes is. As for me, I sure as heck ain’t a vortexy man – not at all. The power of the emotions derived from beautiful natural landscapes are sufficient for me to believe there are powers beyond the mere material world.

Regardless, when you first see Sedona, it can enrapture you. It can make you feel like you’ve never felt before. This isn’t exaggeration. This is exactly what countless people have said over the years. Personally, I think the colors and forms of the rocks induce a certain sensory overload of the mind that is pleasurable to experience.

However, though I have loved Sedona, I do say that power over the mind of God’s nature can be found in many places of lesser renown – especially if endeavoring to make it art through photography. It may take may effort, but, I do believe it can be found.

Well, maybe not at a placed called Cotulla..
