SCROLL TO BOTTOM FOR PHOTOS
As I have said, Samsung photos seem “cheap” compared to Nikon shots.
I don’t know what the Samsung computer is doing. It seems to automatically balance highly contrasting light sources in photos, and smooths out colors and shadows.
The Nikon can do this, but it is much harder because the Nikon, especially in “raw” shooting, captures all details of a composition, including excessive light.
But I’m not complaining. When the light is right, the Nikon hits grand slams. When the light is less than ideal, and my objective is just capturing impressions, the Samsung does fine.
Anyways, these Samsung shots are from Wilson Canyon, taken on the same day as the Nikon shots I shared.

Thanks for the pictures. I agree. There is something different about the pictures taken with the Nikon. I think they are more vivid than those taken with the phone. I would expect that to be the case, anyway. They are great pictures either way, though
Take Care
Gary.
